Turn an explanation into an exercise
After watching a demonstration, try a small version yourself. The gaps you notice while doing the task give you specific questions to ask and a useful starting point for more practice.
Get feedback on something concrete
Share a draft, prototype or working example. Ask a focused question: is the flow clear, does the result solve the problem, or where does the explanation become difficult to follow?
Repeat with one change
Adapt the exercise to a different situation. Change the input, audience or constraint, then explain why your approach still works or why it needs to change. Keep both versions so you can see your progress.
